Can I bring a +1 or guest?
We love you and can’t wait to celebrate with you! To keep our gathering intimate and meaningful, we can only accommodate those listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding and for being part of our special day.
Can I bring my kids?
This is a 21+ celebration with intention.
We love your littles, but for safety, vibes, and pure grown-up joy, we’re keeping the guest list adults-only. Thank you for understanding and helping us create the experience we’re dreaming of.
What's the dress code?
We’re calling it Funky Formal, which means: dress to impress, express, and bless the dance floor.
This isn’t black tie. This is sequin-tux-next-to-sheer-caftan-next-to-velvet-jumpsuit energy. The unofficial theme is “Outdo the Bride,” and yes, that’s a dare.
There will be grassy areas, so opt in for lawn-friendly shoes.

Are both the ceremony and the reception at the same location? What about dinner?
Yes! The entire night will take place at Tree Pittsburgh. We'll welcome, break bread together, share our love with you all, and party the night away in one place.
What is the timeline of events? When can I expect to eat?
We don't want to give away the surprise of the night! That being said, we will receive guests from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Please plan to arrive within this window.
Dinner will be served at 5:00 p.m.
Where should I stay?
We’ve reserved a block of rooms at TRYP by Wyndham Pittsburgh / Lawrenceville Boutique Hotel, a stylish, vibe-forward spot. To book with our special rate, email mccahillb@gfhotels.com and mention the Jocelyn & Jorgan wedding. A direct booking link is coming soon. Stay tuned!
How do I get to Tree Pittsburgh?
Tree Pittsburgh is a magical, green hideaway. However, we understand that many of our guests are not familiar with this neighborhood. Here’s how to find it without stress:
If you're coming from the 62nd St Bridge, you'll turn right on to Butler Street. Within 200 feet, you'll make a SHARP right onto 62nd. If it looks like you should be answering riddles to a troll, you're in the right place! Head all the way down the hill and turn left into the Tree Pittsburgh gate.
If you are coming from TRYP, or just heading northeast on Butler St., turn left onto 62nd Street BEFORE the bridge! Similarly, if it looks industrial, you're in the right place! Head all the way down the hill and turn left into the Tree Pittsburgh gate.
Is there parking at the venue?
There sure is! Tree Pittsburgh has on-site parking available. If you plan to drive, we’ve got space for you, just follow the detailed directions in this Q + A.
Will there be transportation to the venue?
Yes! We’re providing a shuttle to and from the venue from the hotel so you can celebrate safely (and maybe sip something without thinking twice). The shuttle will leave from TRYP starting at 3:45 and will return between 10:45 and 11:00 p.m.
I've not been to this venue before. What should I know?
We chose the venue because we loved the space and its mission. Tree Pittsburgh is an environmental nonprofit dedicated to strengthening and building community vitality by restoring and protecting the urban forest through tree planting and care, education, advocacy, and land conservation.
This is an indoor and outdoor venue. We will have weather-contingent plans. There will be grassy areas as well as a wheelchair-accessible indoor space.
Please note that smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited. Also prohibited are single-use plastics. We love our planet as much as we love you, and have prepared accordingly.
Do I have to RSVP? What if I'm sick the day of the wedding?
Please, please, please RSVP! Whether it's yes or no, we would much rather know in advance so that we can be prepared. If you do not RSVP by the due date, we will bother you... Remember, we know where you live!
If you wake up ill that day, please stay home. Attendees are more than welcome to wear a mask during the event.
